KUALA LUMPUR: Boustead Heavy Industries Corporation Bhd (BHIC) has secured a RM70mil contract from the Defence Ministry to supply spare parts, maintenance services and training.
BHIC said on Tuesday its associate Boustead Naval Shipyard Sdn Bhd had received a letter of award to provide the parts and services to the 23rd frigate squadron of the navy over a three-year period.
"A formal contract between the government of Malaysia and BNS will be signed at a later date," it said.
